Some mornings, I simply don’t have time to go on a hike that gets me to the views I’d really like to shoot. On those days, which have been too many lately, this path up above Saugus High School is my go to place. It’s just a short walk to the top of the hill overlooking the Southern portion of the Santa Clarita Valley. Some mornings, it is glorious. This was the view on the way to an “average” sunrise. I’ll take average over nothing any day of the week.
