The sun was doing its job this night, coloring the hills and casting a golden glow across the sky. I would call this a fairly typical Southern California sunset, with light clouds hovering just above the horizon and clear blue skies, purple mountains in the distance, and the sun casting golden highlights to contrast the shadows of the foothills.
