Blue Hour Panorama

It’s amazing how the color changes in just a few minutes. Besides the solitude of the moment, it’s one of the things I love about the sunrise.

From the deep blues and yellows of the twilight to the deep oranges, reds and purples of the moments just before the sun rises, all of it is worthy of the sleep sacrifice required to take it all in. What is still surprising to me is how often I’m the only one in a miraculous location, even in a large city, awake to experience it first hand. Perhaps that’s why sunrise photos are some of the most popular on 500px.

I’m certainly not complaining. Feel free to sleep in. I’m here for you.
