Sunrise Lights Up Forsythe Peak

The early morning sun reveals the true relative height of the peaks in this photo. Forsythe Peak, which appears smaller off in the distance, is already covered in sun that is just hitting the tips of the closer peaks that surround Leavitt Meadows.

“Tis distance lends enchantment to the view, and robes the mountain in its azure hue.” – Thomas Campbell
