“The biggest cliche in photography is sunrise and sunset,” Catherine Opie once said. I’m sure many feel the same. They’re entitled to their opinion. My opinion? If sunrise and sunset are the biggest cliches in photography, then I’d like to create the best representations of those cliches I can.
