There I was, watching the sky form into the perfect sunset formation. The clouds advanced just enough to allow the post-set colors to bounce off the textures. And there I was, without my Sony A7r ii. I was there to hike a bit around the track area while my son practiced. I didn’t bring the Sony because I didn’t want to carry it while I hiked. In retrospect, I could have left it in my trunk and had it. What do you do in a pinch? You fire up your iPhone, use the Halide app and capture as much of the color as you can using RAW capture on the iPhone. It’s really not even close to the same, but you know, the camera you have with you and all. 🙂
