At the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships, I spent a portion of one of the days just taking photos from the stands of the girls long jump competition. Unfortunately, I was so focused on the photos, I didn’t think to look to understand what age group I was photographing. What caught my eye was the difference in jumping styles between all of the athletes. Five of them are illustrated here.
