macro flower

This past weekend I stuck a 10x macro diopter on my 55mm prime lens and headed out to the front yard to see how it would perform. Boy is it touchy. The focus zone is so tight, getting a good shot requires almost complete stillness… or a tripod. I love the effect it renders and I’ll certainly be playing with it more. I’ve always had a fascination with tiny things. It’s relaxing.
