This morning, I find myself awake on a cloudless August morning in Santa Clarita, California, with no color in the sky at sunrise, wishing for a colorful morning in Grafton, West Virginia. I love the light fog hanging in the Tygart River Valley and the deep green of the trees against the orange sky. This is one of those days I find myself longing for a small town.
