Family Reunion Fireworks

Every two years, family and friends of Evelyn Turner and William Russell Turner gather on Turner Road in Grafton, WV at the farm where they raised their family to celebrate their lives. It is our family reunion, but anyone who cherishes their memory is invited to attend.

I am proud to say that these are the only fireworks that are ever seen at one of our family reunions, always held on or about the Fourth of July. We are certainly not perfect and have our share of dysfunction, but there is a real respect shared, so no drama. It part of the reason why I look forward to them so much.

Then, of course, there is the location. This place is a place of childhood memories, of summer days spent catching crawdads in the creek. And it is the place were so many family reunion memories reside. This place is home. I look forward to many more.
