The sun rose several times on this morning. As I moved around the rocks, the sun would disappear and then appear again. It was like playing hide and seek with the sunrise. There is so much texture at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area. The early morning light exposes it all. It’s one of my favorite places to shoot photos and I simply don’t make the time to do it often enough.

So many beautiful things. So little time.

Hi, I am a Year 11 girl from Burnside High in Christchurch. Can I use your photo for an article about Stress for Teens? I need a good header photo and the Vasquez Rocks Sunrise is perfect for the tone I’m trying to achieve.
Jessica, it’s a pleasure to meet you and you are welcome to use it. If you have a way to link back to here, that would be great! And I’d love to see your finished product. 🙂
