Some of the most beautiful views on the planet are at the end, or along the side, of some of the least travelled roads. There was not a car in sight in either direction on this trip up Highway 1A from Banff to Lake Louise in the Banff National Park. The surrounding National Forest was deep, and through the breaks in the trees , the views were breathtaking.
