When I saw the sun begin to peak out of the Western sky as I exited a snowstorm on Highway 40 heading toward Santa Clarita from Lake Havasu, I knew I was going to have to take the 8-mile detour off of the Pearblossom Highway to see the snow that would be covering the Devil’s Punchbowl. And I knew it was going to be beautiful. I just had no idea it was going to be this beautiful. Just wow.
