You can see it clearly in this composite of Jodeci Weems’ final attempt in the Triple Jump at The California Relays today. I had attempted to take a shot like this for several competitors, but the 1600M races were going on at the same time and Jodeci’s final attempt came during a break between the action. While this attempt didn’t count, she didn’t know it as she completed her jump. The Rancho Verde Junior had an earlier good jump of 36′ 1.50″ to place 3rd in the Invitational Triple Jump. I love making these composites. And since her coach, Brittany Bozeman, was standing near me at the time, I know her athlete will get to see this. And that makes me very happy.
