Sadly, I didn’t get to spend as much time at the pole vault pits as I would have liked, so the number of successful clearances I could photograph was greatly reduced. It is such a beautiful event to capture in this way. The images on this page are from the High School Girls Pole Vault Invitational event. The competition was won at 13′ 6″ by Ashley Callahan of Rancho Bernardo. Unfortunately, I was unable to capture a composite series of her winning jump, but I hope you enjoy a few of the other excellent competitors at the Mt. SAC Relays.
