Not far from the rural town of Kangaroo Valley as you travel South on Nowra Road is a surprise that you’ll miss if you’re not careful. I’ve tried to describe this area to friends by saying it’s as if you filled and covered a small version of the Grand Canyon with trees, then through in a beautiful waterfall just for fun.
It’s located in the Morton National Park, but right on the edge and it’s literally right off of the road. You just can’t see it unless you stop and take the easy path from the Fitzroy Falls Visitor Center. I was awed by its beauty.
