For my money, and the cost of this entire journey is less than USD $15, the best commuter route to any airport is the Fast Ferry from Manly Beach, NSW Australia into Sydney Harbor, then a short train ride from Circular Quay to the Sydney International Airport. It is awe inspiring every single time.
