Trey Longstreth wide open for a TD.

The scene above was typical… a wide-open receiver and a well-thrown ball. The College Of The Canyons Cougars had no trouble dispensing with the Vaqueros of Santa Barbara City College in an unusual Sunday evening college football game. The Saturday game scheduled to be played in Santa Barbara was canceled and moved due to technical issues. It was my first COC football game, now that I have a son who is attending and running track for the Cougars. Considering two Cougar kick returns for TD’s were called back for holding penalties, the score doesn’t really reflect the disparity between the two teams.

And the sunset wasn’t bad either. 🙂

Cayden Dunn once more into an open hole.
Great focus by Trey Longstreth.
A late-game interception by Madison Wheeler.
It was a beautiful night for a football game.
