Palms In Anticrepuscular Rays

About one quarter-hour before sunrise or after sunset, the Earth’s shadow is projected on the lower layers of the atmosphere. The colors vary between sunrise and sunset, but the phenomenon is the same. The poets also call this phenomenon the Belt of Venus.
