As the morning light hits the plants in Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park, it makes for some great light. In the spring, the wildflowers between the rocks just shine. But as winter approaches in Southern California, the flowers have been without any real rain for months. It is a unique kind of beauty. Ironically, I had planned to go back out this morning, but… it’s raining here in Santa Clarita. We need it.
