When we arrived to begin setup for the 1st Annual Valley United Track & Field Invitational, the gates were locked and the sky was beginning to capture the twilight glow of a rising sun. When Simi Valley High School‘s Head Coach, Steve Ringgold opened the gates, I ran to this spot inside the empty Pioneer Stadium to catch the colors before they disappeared.
