SoCal Butterfly

In this area of Southern California, I simply don’t see many butterflies. And when I do see them, I’m often without a camera, or they’re too far away to capture. This one was stopping briefly on different flowers and quickly heading away. I followed it down the path for several hundred meters before it finally rested just long enough for me to get a shot off. I’ll take it!
