Hesperaloe parviflora

These beautiful Red Yucca plants grow alongside one of the roads I take to get to the Haskell Canyon Open Space. Apparently, they are not only heat and drought tolerant but can survive in harsh winter temperatures as well. I’m learning a lot in my research for this little photo series. Thanks to Tony Degeorge for helping me identify this one. 🙂
