The lights from our family decorations and on the Christmas tree were almost the only lights on while we were playing poker last night. From the dining room table, I kept staring at the tree and the contrasts and wondering what kind of shot I could make from the scene. Thankfully, Micah, who won last night, will humor me in these situations and let me fiddle with camera settings and focus and be as patient as a distractible sixteen-year-old girl can be. This is another one of those shots I could see finished before even snapping the shutter. Thanks, Micah.
