A Millerton Lake sunset was not on my list. The plan was to get up early each morning and head into the local national parks, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, or Sequoia. But on the way up to Fresno, I decided to try to get a sunset in Sequoia National Park only to get the gate to be turned away because of snow. This was the second time in a row I’ve been thwarted from getting to Sequoia. The second night I decided to just go to a local lake suggested by my Airbnb hosts. It was a good suggestion.
