I was surprised to see this Skyfire through my front door. It’s rare when I don’t check The Photographer’s Ephemeris before I go to sleep. I like to at least know what the chances are for a colorful sunrise. So, I was startled when I opened the door to find the sky lit up. I was up long before the sunrise but was working instead of hiking. Clearly, that was a mistake.
