The Slick Rock Recreation Area was not on my list. I didn’t know it existed. But it will be on my list from this point forward. I passed by it on the way to Sequoia National Park and when I was turned away at the entrance by a snowstorm, Slick Rock was the natural and spontaneous choice for a quick series of photos.
