Sunday morning, Mike Simonsen suggested we take a little hike up near Donner Ridge and get a different view of Donner Lake. Always up for a vista, I didn’t need much convincing. We drove to a higher altitude and took one of the trails out a ways to an overlook that gave us some spectacular views of the Truckee, California area. Wow.
