One of the nice things about travel is the change of scenery. I live in a desert here in Santa Clarita, California. It doesn’t rain much and as a result, we don’t get mushrooms like this. I was waiting for Zachariah to arrive at the track for a practice at Minnesota State University when this gem caught my eye. I only had my 24-240mm lens with me on this trip, but I would have loved to have shot this with a macro extension tube on my 20mm. The macro world is a magical place.
