I think this is a Sharp-Shinned Hawk, though it’s possible it’s a Cooper’s Hawk. According to all the bird sights, even trained bird watchers have a hard time telling the difference. I am most certainly not a trained bird watcher. It was great to be able to get a close look at this beautiful creature. She held still just long enough for me to get this side portrait.
