The athletes came to compete at the first edition of the 2022 Simi Valley Winter Champs Qualifier on Saturday. While I heard a few athletes say this was a good “practice,” many came with serious intentions of qualifying for the 2022 California Winter Championships. 484 images ended up in the final curation which you can find here: 2022 Simi Valley Album. Below are a few that I like, including Yvette Harris winning the 60M Hurdles 9.64 for the current #2 time in California, and a pole vault composite of Aidan Hagerty of Foothill Tech.
