That is my neighborhood just to the right and behind those two water towers on the left side of the photo above. It’s tucked into the hills just before the developments end at the Southeastern border of the Los Padres National Forest. The location makes it fairly simple to leave from my front door to access hiking trails and to feel as if I’ve left the suburbs behind for a bit.
