A Dual Meet - Sort Of

There was a dual meet (sort of) between Bishop Alemany and Crespi yesterday at Crespi High School. I say “sort of” because Crespi as an all-boys school. So, two all-girls schools were scheduled to compete, Louisville and Marlborough, and the Alemany girls squad joined in to compete. For me, it was a chance to give myself to practice a bit with this Tamron 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VXD lens before tonight’s first day of competition at the Arcadia Invitational.

I have to say; I’m impressed with the detail this lens captures. You should be able to see that in the shots on this page. I bought it specifically to get better pictures during low light and night shooting. I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs tonight!
