Carissa Martinez a Senior at Mater Dei finished 2nd in the Girls High Jump Rising Stars with a jump of 5′ 2″

The hype surrounding the 2022 Arcadia Invitational was overwhelmingly high. You would have been justified in thinking there was no way for it to live up to the pre-meet press. But it did. Both days were filled with record-setting performances, culminating in a ridiculous Boys 3200M Invitational race. And aside from the heat on Friday, if you’re a track and field fan, it would be hard to find something to complain about. The cheering crowds were back and you could see that their energy impacted the athlete’s performances in a very positive way. Congratulations to Rich Gonzalez and his amazing team for another well-run meet.

This post contains a few sample photos from the 2068 images I captured across the two days. You can find the complete set of images here: 2022 Arcadia Invitational Photos. Remember, 100% of all profits from photo sales will be donated to local youth track and field programs!
