A Skipper In A Macro Dreamland

This tiny Skipper looks like she’s in some kind of macro dreamland. It’s one of the “ethereal” shots captured yesterday in my experimentation with extension tubes attached to an 85mm F1.4 lens. I would have liked to have gotten better focus on her eye, if I’m picking. However, the dreaminess of the shot still appeals to me. Besides, nothing brings me into balance as easily as a few moments chasing nature in my yard. The shot itself is a bonus. The process is what I seek. It is joy, pure and simple.
