After seeing photos of the Barrio Histórico in Colonia del Sacramento, I couldn’t wait to walk its cobblestoned streets. Located in southwestern Uruguay, Colonia del Sacramento sits across the Río de La Plata from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Palermo neighborhood in Buenos Aires was the Tangilla team’s home for 10 days. Since our final Saturday was free, Pablo, Kaitlyn, and I decided we’d put our passports to use and hop on the ferry for the 90-minute trip. I’m so thankful we did this. One afternoon, however, was not nearly enough. I’m already making plans for a weekend trip one day.
