Sometime during the day yesterday, I realized I’d likely be watching the sunset In Punalu’u, not Hauula. The Airbnb we’re staying in lists itself in Hauula, but according to Google Maps, it’s actually in an area called Punalu’u. Either way, it’s beautiful. This photo looks Northeast as the sun sets over the Hau’ula Forest Reserve. Yesterday was practically perfect.
