I thought we might not get to watch the sunrise in Punalu’u yesterday. We could see it was pouring as we approached the elevator and looked out onto the mountain side of the building. So we walked to the other side of the hallway and peeked out the window (shown above) to see what we might be missing. It was clear that it was going to be another beautiful sunrise. But there was no way I was taking the Sony A1 out into the downpour. And then the rain just stopped. And the sun and clouds put on a show.
