I suppose my fascination with seagulls at track meets could be blamed on my Midwest roots. Whatever the reason, I get easily distracted when the seagulls start circling the stadium near the end of a meet. It’s as if they have a secret schedule, knowing exactly when the meet is winding down and the buffet of abandoned snacks is about to open. Suddenly, my camera is not pointing at the track but at the sky. Thank goodness my longest lens only reaches 240mm. Any longer, and I might accidentally start a new career in bird photography. 🙂

Topaz Sharpen works wonders on my photos
Thanks for the spellcheck, Ira. 🙂 I used Topaz Gigapixel AI on these images to extend my range.
Good one!
