Andes Mountains

The Andes Mountains are not only the longest mountain range on the planet but also the highest mountain range outside the Himalayas. Perhaps that’s why photographing the Andes Mountains felt different. I’ve flown over the Rocky Mountains more times than I can count and tried to capture photos from an airplane before, but never with this success. Shooting through glass with the coatings and the reflections always leaves me wishing to just stick the camera out the window. However, the ability to edit the RAW images from the iPhone 16 Pro made the real difference. It gave me enough dynamic range to get good color from the window-filtered shots. I hope you enjoy.
