Today, we were graced with a glorious Thanksmas sunrise here in Santa Clarita. Thanksmas is something we created this year to try and make it easier for our six adult children to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with their significant other’s families without the pressure of having to worry about us. Today, we will celebrate Thanksgiving. Tonight, we will perform our traditional Christmas Eve celebrations. Tomorrow, we will celebrate Christmas morning in our unique way. Not everyone is here; we very much miss Samara (Sailor) and her husband, Robert (Marine). Their military responsibilities got in the way. But we hope this will make it easier for them in the coming years.

So, Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to anyone who stumbles on this.
