Enjoying Nature At Puente Arroyo La Angostura

I visited Puente Arroyo La Angostura on my last trip to San Carlos de Bariloche. I had no idea the spot actually had a name, however. The Tangilla team stumbled on Puente Arroyo La Angostura while driving around after a visit to the Patagonia Brewing Company. And I desperately wanted to take Rocky there. So I asked her to drive past the brewery to see if I could find it again. Sure enough as I looked out the passenger window, I noticed the scene above and asked her to stop the car.

There it was. And it was easy to get to. We parked our car along the side of the road and joined the sunbathers along the side of the water. It was perfect. Rocky created her rock sculptures, which I’ll write about later, and I snapped photos of the scenery, Including the Chimango Caracara below. Enjoy!

    1. I was imagining how stunning that setting would be with snow on those mountains and the river raging as the ice melted. Until Google told me the last time it snowed in Argentina was July 9, 2007.
      The more you know!

    2. Wow, that’s stunning! It’s also a great lesson to never trust Google! It can’t even get the Gulf of Mexico right!
