These little ones are the reason why I donate every dollar I make from photo sales to youth track and field programs. When Will Humphries asked if I could come shoot the first meet of the season, an all-comers meet at Valencia High School, I jumped at the chance. There is something special about seeing the youngest athletes line up in the same races as the older kids, giving it everything they have.

Some of these runners could become serious competitors if they get the support and coaching they need. If my photography can help create that kind of environment, I am proud to be a small part of their athletic journey.
