I’ve been chasing bees with my camera for a long, long time. Now, here we are in the Pacific Northwest, and I find myself drawn to them again. Chasing the bees in Santa Clarita was truly a zen experience. They were not plentiful. Here, they are swarming the flowers on the waterfront. Some of them are as big as the bees in Patagonia. Today, they provided a quick 15-minute break from work that was as rewarding creatively as it was relaxing.
