Oneonta Gorge

We completely missed the Oneonta Gorge and the Oneonta Tunnel the last time we visited Horsetail Falls. I’m not sure how. The 125-foot tunnel is a historic 1914 landmark on Oregon’s Historic Columbia River Highway. It sits next to the gorge, “a narrow, moss-draped slot canyon.” Officials have permanently closed the trail to the Lower Oneonta Falls. So that is a waterfall I might never be able to capture. Legally, at least. 😉
