
This morning’s Winter Solstice Sunrise looked to be a bit pedestrian looking Southeast directly into the sun. So I decided to abandon my spot and drive to a place normally reserved for sunsets. The clouds to the West were lit up beautifully over Six Flags Magic Mountain. I certainly don’t always guess right, but today I did. What a show the sun and clouds put on this morning.
