This is one of my all-time favorite photos. It was just me and the two girls at the beach this day. That doesn’t happen very often. I’m not even sure what strange combination of circumstances created this opportunity. But as the sun was setting and I was taking a few photos, they strolled hand-in-hand toward the water, in my shot. I resisted my normal parental voice and just let it happen and when I realized what a great shot it was, asked them to stop and just stand still. Photos like this are why I love photography. Taken at San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura, California.
