Larrabee Stadium, home of Turner Field, no relation, at Ventura High School has to have one of the best views in the country. The home stands face West, looking out over the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands, seen below. They provide just the right amount of contract and depth.
I look forward to the Track Meet at Ventura High School each year. Of course, it signifies the beginning of the track season, but if I’m being honest, I’m almost as excited about the view. The Ventura sunset is worth the trip alone. When you can combine a great sunset view and high school sports… perfect.
