The scale of Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park is difficult to understand without some humans on the rocks to give it perspective, but there aren’t a lot of people around these beautiful locations at sunrise. The seclusion is something I’m always grateful for and frequently surprised by. I shoot panoramas in situations like this, not because they help with the perspective, but to illustrate the expanse of solitude the moment has provided. Enjoy.
