The only goal was to try and capture a sunrise at The Alamo. I had noticed the San Antonio Tricentennial signs all over town but gave no real thought to them. As I approached the Alamo I could see some TV cameras and a small crowd gathered. I had no idea that I had chosen the morning of the 182nd Anniversary of the Battle of The Alamo and the Tricentennial “Dawn At The Alamo” celebration being put on by the┬áSan Antonio Living History Association. It was a nice surprise. I’m thankful I was up to witness it.
